We ensure that mode of transportation decisions whether courier or Air Cargo; packaging handling like cool box or merely unbreakable outer packing , proper labeling for tracking and custom clearance, all are based on assumption that medicines integrity are maintained till it reaches to intended recipients within promised timeline. COMPETITIVE COLD CHAIN AND INFRASTRUCTURE

Health services vision is to provide safe and quality assured medicines to patients and clients. Proper handling and storages of medicines throughout distribution is essential part for drug safety and quality. To maintain the proper cold chain system, we generate the following system.

ACTIVE COLD CHAIN TOOLS EQUIPMENT

    • Compression refrigerator: It is run solely on electricity 220V/110V and on battery) it produces significant amount of coolness quickly and are easy to operate Thermostat is also equipped for setting the desired temperature.

  • Non Editable Loggers: We place non –editable logger to maintain the temperature range and throughout the product cycle as it reach at consumer end.
  • Calibration: We have calibrated devices and logger which are annually and quarterly calibrated through third party sources.

PASSIVE COLD CHAIN STORAGE MATERIALS:

To maintain and control the safety, efficacy and conformity of drug quality standard we had cold storage equipment like COLD /COOL BOXES at all levels for transporting cold chain medicines. For vaccines, we use VACCINE CARRIERS to store vaccines during the immunization session. Iso-thermal packaging/Control material like packing paper to wrap the medication up when shipping it from one place to other. ICE PACKS Or ICE is also used in these boxes. To record temperature between +2 C and 8, Thermo logger is placed to measure the temperature inside the drug / vaccine refrigerator and cold boxes.

    • a. Temperature monitoring is done three times daily and noted on temperature record sheet.

  • b. Cleaning is done two times daily.

QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGEMENT TEAM

  • The supply & cold chain department is performing their role to maintain the drug safety and efficacy at every level. The assigned officer & Non editable temperature loggers corrugated box Feed back froms Callibrations supervisor performing a task on daily base: Monitor cold chain equipment functioning and Record temperature of refrigerator twice a day.
